So, I queue up for some random BG's with the new system introduced in WoW patch 3.3.3, and everything seems great. The first one is AV, we do the usual broken and boring zerg to Drek, win it in a few minutes with no PvP whatsoever, and I get my big bonus, my 25 Arena point and all that.
Then I get Arathi Basin as my second random BG. Suddenly we have only one single base, the Blacksmith. I try to encourage people to spread out and take more, but only 2-3 do so. The rest just stays at the BS. When I inquire as to why this is, Kittenbbq - Twilight's Hammer EU kindly replies that with the Honorable Defender buff, this is the place to be.
With 50% more honor from defending a flag, plus the increased honor from kills in general in patch 3.3.3, winning a BG that isn't your first during the day, just isn't "worth it" in terms of honor farming anymore.
So I gotta say, Blizzard either has to greatly buff the bonuses from both winning or losing, or simply nerf the honorable defender debuff. Or something that will make it "worth it" to actually attempt to win again. Because this plainly sucks. Having happy losers walk away with 6k honor after not even attempting to win, is a true slap in the face to all those of us that actually enjoy the BG's and wish to win.
